We are thrilled to have you join our team and begin your journey with us. Your first week is designed to help you settle into your role, build connections with your colleagues, and gain a comprehensive understanding of our company’s values, culture, and operations.

Throughout Welcome Week, you’ll participate in engaging activities, informative sessions, and hands-on training tailored to ensure you feel confident and equipped to succeed. This experience is all about making you feel comfortable, supported, and excited about the opportunities ahead.

Onboarding and Team Introduction

  • Issue Hoffman Building Technologies swag.

  • Tour office and meet team members.

Getting Started: Orientation

Your onboarding journey begins with a warm welcome from Alex, our amazing Admin Assistant!

Alex is here to ensure your transition is smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. With her helpful nature and boundless energy, she’s always ready to assist you. If you need anything during your first week, don’t hesitate to reach out to her at Alexandra.Parker@hbtech.com.

You’ll also meet your team members and key stakeholders, learning about their roles and how they collaborate across departments. To help you settle in, we’ll provide an office tour (or virtual walkthrough) so you can familiarize yourself with your workspace, tools, and resources. Icebreaker activities will help you build connections with colleagues in a fun and relaxed setting.


Equipping You for Success: Tools & Systems

We’ll ensure you’re fully equipped with the tools and systems needed for your role. Our IT team will assist with setting up email accounts, software access, and system logins. You’ll receive training on company platforms, along with an introduction to workflows and processes specific to your department.

Hands-on practice sessions will allow you to explore these tools in a guided environment, ensuring you feel confident using them in your daily tasks. If you have any questions or need additional support, our team is here to help every step of the way.


Understanding Our Culture

At Critical Technologies, our culture is the foundation of everything we do. You’ll participate in Lunch & Learn, workshops that highlight our values, traditions, and how we celebrate success as a team. We also prioritize diversity and inclusion—creating an environment where everyone feels respected, empowered, and valued for their unique contributions.

To deepen your understanding of our organization’s vision for the future, you’ll have the opportunity to meet company leaders in casual sessions where they share insights into their goals and strategies. These interactions are a great way to connect with leadership and gain a broader perspective on how we work together to achieve greatness.


Role-Specific Training

Your role is integral to our success, and we want to ensure you feel confident stepping into it. You’ll receive detailed training on your responsibilities, key projects, and expectations for success. Shadowing sessions with experienced colleagues will give you hands-on exposure to tasks related to your position while guided workshops will help refine your skills further.

As you progress through the week, feedback discussions with your manager or mentor will provide valuable insights into your performance so far while helping align goals for the future.

This is also an opportunity for us to gather feedback from you about your onboarding experience—your input helps us improve continuously!
